GIS Motorised and Manual Trolleys

Swiss manufacturer, GIS, has released its new, redesigned trolley generation for steel beams – the manual GHF model and the motorised GMF model trolleys for greater lifting capacity.

Both models have been redesigned to deliver maximum flexibility and durability. The trolley simply slides and locks onto the metal bar quickly and effortlessly for faster and hassle-free installation. This eliminates the need for space washers, while making on-site installation easier.

Offering 26% greater capacity when compared to previous GIS trolley models, the next-generation GHF and GMF trolleys deliver lifting capacities of up to 6,300kg.

They are available in four sizes with the following lifting capacities: 1,250kg, 2,500kg, 5,000kg and 6,300kg.

These new generation trolleys are tough and fully robust, and feature helical gears and flat load wheels with an increased diameter to optimise the load on the supporting beam’s flanges and provide an increased service life.

Safety also features highly in the redesigned models. The new GHF and GMF trolleys include as standard, fall and climbing protection made of solid cast iron, complying with the requirements of Australian Standard AS 1418.2.

These new generation trolleys are optimised for quiet running, producing only 80dBA (at 1m), and are easy to control and perfectly matched to the GIS GP chain hoist range to form a compact unit. Plus, with the increased capacity and ease of installation, these new trolleys can also be used as components for end carriages of underslung overhead cranes, and are available with frequency converters for movement of the load, thereby reducing load swing.

The trolleys are available in a corrosion-resistant version for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical, and wastewater treatment industries, as well as for outdoor applications.

Both GMF and GHF models also provide optional carrier rollers to ensure smooth running on curves, as well as increased durability of the load wheels.

GIS electric chain hoists and trolleys are designed and made in Switzerland and offer a substantial 3-year warranty as standard. They are reliable and designed for longevity and performance.
