GH do Brasil has recentlyreceived its largest everorder, signing a majorturnkey installation contractfor the Brasfels shipyard (theBrazilian subsidiary of thecompany Keppel Fels).
This major project, worth over 5.5million euros and vital for the country’sdevelopment, is for extension of theshipyard due to enhancement of thepetroleum industry, a key sector for Brazil’seconomy.
GH do Brasilwill supply the entire rangeof gantri cranes for the shipyard extension.The 11 units sold include 4 huge gantriescranes, each with a weight of 80 tons and aheight of 21 metres.
The contract also includes 2 km of runningtrack, transport and assembly in Angra dosReis (Rio de Janeiro).
The final delivery is scheduled for July2014.
Keppel Fels is a Singapore company mainlycatering for the shipbuilding and offshorepetroleum and gas market.
The company’s Brazilian subsidiary wascreated in March 2000.
